Concerns of perpetrator

I feel like I need regular reassurance and reminding that the perpetrator that violated me is still locked up. I keep having thoughts of has he died? I don't know the law around this will I be notified if the perpetrator dies while he is serving his sentance? Or gets beaton up so badly he goes into hospital? I need to text my VLO tomorrow and ask her to remind me that he is still locked up and alive.

    Hi Steph. I'm afraid I don't know the law in this area and what is normal, but it's a great idea to ask the question of your support people and find out what you would be told - at least so you know where you stand. Hope you're doing ok :)
