gap year

if and when ill finish the full two years at college doing level 3 business at 19 i was thinking of taking a gap year from 19 to 20 to gain some work experience. from 18 to 20 ill most likely be volunteering for citizens advice as an admin assistant, therefore taking a gap year would be beneficial as ill have two years worth of work experience instead of one. have many people on here done gap years? if so, whats it like?

I took a gap year by accident and did absolutely nothing with it. I think I would’ve worked if I could’ve managed that, but I couldn’t. It felt so freeing to not be studying all the time after A levels. It went so fast, the whole year is a blur in my memory 😂 I don’t think my gap year even really counts as one though because I did nothing with it
