sometimes i wonder what life wouldve been like if i didnt have my first psychotic episode. sure i shouldnt really dwell on the past but its been on my mind recently and i cant get rid of it. realistically speaking i wouldve failed my last mock exams because i didnt revise the weeks leading up to it. my mind was occupied with other things, but that couldve been due to the early symptoms of psychosis. i think i wouldnt have even received community camhs if i didnt get diagnosed with it or went into hospital. if i got referred to camhs at the age of 12 or so because thats when i started experiencing mental health issues maybe this psychotic episode couldve been prevented. but honestly they are notorious for only stepping in when your mental health deteriorates to the point where you cannot manage anymore. also i dont remember if ive made a similar post like this before so if i have i apologise.
