I can’t accept my autism

It's okay that your finding it really hard to accept your autism. People have different reactions when they find out, some people feel relief as they have the answers as to the way they feel, and the way that they are, but others they ma find it overwhelming and difficult as they just don't fully understand.
When people are diagnosed there isn't really that much support on how to cope and handle things, you just get told you have it and they expect you to just carry on. And this lack of support could be what is making it so hard for you to accept it.
For the longest time I didn't accept my ASD diagnosis as I thought it was just labeling me and setting me up for failure but it wasn't until I started learning more about myself and how different the world actually is to me, I started to accept my diagnosis more, and started advocating for my needs and for what I needed to succeed in life as we are very much just as capable as everyone else, it just is a lot harder for us.
If you want to talk about it more, I am here for you.
