    Tbh I think most of us are uncomfortable talking to parents about sex. That’s completely normal, and doesn’t make it shameful in the slightest.

    The most important thing in a situation like this is your safety - making sure you have contraception/protection sorted, and ensuring that you’re meeting up with safe people. It’s one of those things where telling parents isn’t really something most of us would feel comfortable with, especially if it’s not a serious relationship.
