So @TheMix decided to call 101 and report a police officer that told me I deserved a beating for my behaviour about 3-4 years ago it has not affected me at all but I have to talk to the police about it now apparently so I’m freaking out which I thought themix wasn’t meant to freak you out it was to not freak you out but after this post I’m deleting my account does anyone know how to delete my account thanks👍🏻

I know it can be scary when themix gets involved like this but they do it to ensure your safe but also that it won't happen to anyone else. Like yes it happened 3-4 years ago but it should have never happened.
Themix and its community are always here to help and sometimes rhat does mean reachinf out to external people like 101 - usually they will contact you via email to say what they have done.
I hope this experience doesn't deter you from gaining support from the community and that you are always welcome here
if you are wanting to delete your account you should send a message to @TheMix and advise them that you would like your account deleted - i think!
i hope you’re ok and please know that how you are feeling is so so valid!! sending so much love your way🩷
i know from my experience of volunteering with shout that when someone is unwilling to give their information or has ended the conversation but is at risk that supervisors / safeguarding can work with emergency services to locate the person to make sure they get the help they need - i don’t know exactly how it’s done unfortunately though - i would imagine the mix would be a super similar process though with the merger happening! i hope that’s of some help to you:)
Because the male police officer is in a Position of Trust (a legal term to describe a role where a person has regular and direct contact with children, and/ or a duty of care for others), we are obliged to report his behaviour to non-emmergency services (non-emmergency services are the police 101 department, not 999. So they may investigate the male police officer's conduct in their own time). This is to help ensure that any other people who come into contact with police are recieving the safest possible treatment, and to advocate for the best standards of care. I'd like to reassure you that you are not in any trouble in the slightest, nor have you done anything wrong.
We recognise this may feel difficult, and are here if you do have any questions you'd like to ask “ so maybe that means I don’t have to talk to the police she didn’t say if I had to or not but I pray they don’t come to my house
You don’t have to tell the police anything if you don’t want to. If they turn up, just say that you don’t want to report the incident. This post will prob get deleted but it’s ridiculous they reported it on your behalf when it happened years ago as if you don’t have a say in what happens. This new confidentiality policy is mad😂
forreal😭the new confidentiality policy puts me off sm!!
