Hello everyone,
We have another research opportunity you can take part in with University College London and you'll be given a £20 voucher for taking part
About this Study
Primary care professionals like GPs are seeing more young people with symptoms of anxiety and depression and there is growing concern about the impacts of social media on young adult’s mental health. We are interested in interviewing young adults (18-25) to understand the impact of social media on mental health, why young adults with anxiety and depression may or may not ask for help from primary care professionals like GPs and nurses about social media and what kinds of support are received.
What the study involves?
- 30-45 minute online call
- Anything you say will be kept anonymous
You can take part if you:
- Are aged 18-25
- Have experienced depression or anxiety
- Speak English
- Some experience of social media (e.g. WhatsApp, TikTok, Snapchat)
- Live in the UK
Interested in taking part or have any questions?
Email ruth.plackett.15@ucl.ac.uk to take part and also if you have any questions about the research study.
We have also attached a poster with more information about the study
