I'm sorry you've been feeling overwhelmed. I know that having no energy to deal with what goes on around you may feel like a personal failure, however it's normal to need a break from time to time and you don't need to apologise for sharing your thoughts and feelings. I remember you already mentioned some time ago the need to take care of yourself and that you were convinced that putting yourself first would make you selfish. I just want to remind you that taking some time to look after your own well being is an act of self care and is the best way to take care of others as well in the long run. Your own mental health comes first and focusing on yourself when you know you're in need of a break is the right thing to do.
I'm just gonna leave some links here on self care hoping you'll find them helpful

Negative thoughts and poor mental health do affect the way in which we take care of ourselves. It's very common for someone dealing with these kind of issues to neglect self care or hygiene. It is nothing to be sorry or ashamed about. Do you have anyone you can rely on for support? Parents, friends, or even helplines or professionals
It is totally fine to look after yourself, there is nothing selfish about it at all. Sometimes you have to focus on your personal development as it is very important that we look after ourselves and check in on our selves.
Sorry to hear you have been feeling overwhelmed but just to sort of echo everyone else on here It is 100 percent ok to take some time out for yourself to recharge and re cooperate from everything. There is as Amy says nothing selfish about it at all in fact self care is recommended that it should be something we take into account daily. Be it a 10 minute walk/run or even just finishing a chapter of a book
Take the very best care
