Elf us out this Christmas

Around this time of year, every year, we run a Christmas Elves event.
For those who don't know, we ask for volunteers to be Elves over Christmas and New Year. Staff are around less, moderator cover is usually a bit thin, but (as you know) this can be a really hard time of year and some folks need support now more than ever. That means every post, reaction, and report matters that much more and helps make sure the boards stay supportive and safe for everyone.
Elf duties can include any of the following... *puts on reading glasses*
- Reporting concerning posts
- Welcoming new members
- Uploading a Christmas avatar if you haven't already
- Replying to posts to support others (especially ones that haven't been replied to)
- Starting threads to get people involved
- Reacting to posts to show you're around
The Mix staff will also be getting involved with this. Some of our staff you usually don't see (e.g. our marketing team, and even our CEO) will be putting their Elf hats on to help out.
But here's the real question: do you get a badge for doing this?
Anyone who joins the Christmas Elves this year will be awarded this limited edition badge, designed by our very own @Apollo (who we may or may not be stealing to make more
