    Hey @Past User!

That sounds like a really good resolution to make, how do you feel about doing it? <3

I would say my resolution is to be more decisive - I am not the best at making decisions and often struggle to decide where we should go for lunch when hanging with friends. They'll be so shocked when I actually decide for once!  :o

    Lose weight
“And when they look at you, they won't see everything you've been through. They won't see the **** that turned to scars that began to fade with time. They won't see the heartbreaking things that shook up and changed your entire world. They won't know how many tears you cried or even what it was you were crying about. They won't see how strong you had to be because you had no other choice. What they will see though is how compassionate you are because you experienced pain. What they will see is how kind you are because you experienced how cruel the world is. What they will see is how good you are because you've seen how bad things or people can be. The difference between you and your experiences are who you choose to be, despite everything that could have turned you cold and unkind. You are the good the world needs and the best of us.” ~ Kirsten Corley

Sometimes all you need is one person to believe in you , for you to begin to believe in yourself.

New year, new me? Nah, new year better me 👌

There's a few goals I have but going to take baby steps to achieve them 😊

    1) stay out of hospital! Going to achieve this by getting rid of my pill stash, using my support circle and using distractions.

    2) last at work instead of going home early or taking a day of every week. Going to do this by not thinking too much about it, just focusing on the day/hour ahead and speaking to my manager today to ask when I feel overwhelmed can I go out for a smoke /coffee to try gather my thoughts 😊

    3) socialise more, going through photos to put on fb and realized I have more photos with my friends 200 mile away than with my local friends 😂 so instead of spending my days off in bed I'm going to take it slow and try meet up with my local friends at least once a month.

That's all I can think of for now but I'll add more throughout the day probably 🤷‍♀️ in doing these things I hope to better my mental health as well 😊💖

    Happy New Year everyone!

Great to see members already coming up with some positive new year goals.

Love this graphic from @Past User.

Who else has got some resolutions for a happy, healthy 2020?

Mine is less Netflix, more reading.

Lovely thread! I tend to struggle with new year resolutions so I'm trying Dry January and then I will see how it goes for the rest of the year :)
