Hi, my name is lauren

So basically my issue is that my boyfriend feels like I’m being dishonest and hiding things from him. I’m obviously not but he is adamant to the idea that I am. He has literally been through my phone endless times and I’ve tried reassuring him that there’s nothing but he’s not having it. Please help I just want things to be good again.

    Hey Lauren,

    Welcome to The Mix community,

Sorry to hear about what your going through, do you have people to talk too about things with your boyfriend?

Having somebody to talk to about this could help you, we are here for you also.

Could you try and have a sit down convo with your boyfriend about your worries, and how it's making you feel.

We are here for you if you need to chat about things

    Heyy. Welcome to the site!!

that sounds really frustating.  Do you know why he feels like that? Has he been cheated on before? Think maybe finding out why could help so you can reasure him or find way to help. Obvs cant change his mindset yourself. Esp if youre not the problem.
Do you allow him to check your phone? obviously havin trust in relationship is important. Sometimes can take patience & lot of time. But you have to know whether your okaystill bein in that relationship. As im sure you kno the relationship more & to think about if things would change & how.
Constantly trying to prove you are faithful sounds like would get quite exhausting.

Wish i had answer for you but wish you all the best
“And when they look at you, they won't see everything you've been through. They won't see the **** that turned to scars that began to fade with time. They won't see the heartbreaking things that shook up and changed your entire world. They won't know how many tears you cried or even what it was you were crying about. They won't see how strong you had to be because you had no other choice. What they will see though is how compassionate you are because you experienced pain. What they will see is how kind you are because you experienced how cruel the world is. What they will see is how good you are because you've seen how bad things or people can be. The difference between you and your experiences are who you choose to be, despite everything that could have turned you cold and unkind. You are the good the world needs and the best of us.” ~ Kirsten Corley

    Hi Lauren

I'm sorry to hear that you and your boyfriend are experiencing problems. It sounds very distressing for you. May I ask how old you are, and how long you have been in this relationship? These things might impact the type of advice I can give. :)

    Hi Lauren, welcome!x

It sounds like your boyfriend is being paranoid without reason. Don't let him control your actions and take over your phone etc - that's not what a healthy relationship looks like, it's what a loving relationship turning into a controlling relationship looks like!x

    Much love <3
