Heyy everyone,
Christmas can be a difficult time for many of us and self-care during this time is really important. As a team we thought it would be great to have a self-care challenge in the run up to Christmas so we can all take some time to look after ourselves
I've made this a bit like an advent calendar so each day you can click the spoiler to find out what self-care activity you can do each day! I had a lot of fun making this! I hope you enjoy this self-care challenge
Comment below what you've done to look after yourself and feel free to share other self-care ideas for us all to try too.
1st December
Make a list of 5 things you do to relax. Plan some time to do these things this week.
2nd DecemberWrite down three kind things about yourself.
3rd DecemberSpend some time outside e.g. going for a 10 minute walk.
4th DecemberWrite out one short term goal and one long term goal.
5th DecemberFeel proud - what have you accomplished recently? Celebrate your achievement today!
6th DecemberWrite your feelings down in a diary - writing things out can really help!
7th DecemberRead a book for an hour.
8th DecemberDo some yoga.
9th DecemberMake a hot drink and watch your favourite movie.
10th DecemberCall or text a friend or family member and say hi.
11th DecemberLight some candles and listen to some music.
12th DecemberDo some baking!
13th DecemberTake a bubble bath and listen to some relaxing music.
14th DecemberDo something crafty e.g. colouring, drawing, DIY decorations.
15th DecemberLet yourself sleep in an extra hour.
16th DecemberHave a PJ day!
17th DecemberDeclutter your room or something in your house that's been bugging you.
18th DecemberWatch the sunset - don't take any photos just watch it
19th DecemberUnplug for an hour - switch everything to airplane mode and take some time away from social media.
20th DecemberGo to bed early and try to get 8 hours of sleep.
21st DecemberWatch Youtube videos of cute animals.
22nd DecemberDo something you love - e.g. a hobby, a yoga class or meeting up with a friend!
23rd DecemberTry something new today that's out of your comfort zone.
24th DecemberBe kind to yourself all day!

Maybe somethings don't get better, but we do. We get stronger. We learn to live with our situations as messy and ugly as they are. We fix what we can and we adapt to what we can't. Maybe some of us will never fully be okay, but at least we're here. We're still trying. We're doing the best we can. That's worth celebrating too ❤

soemthing ive achieved recently is going to group therapy and carrying with it despite feeling v hopeless and pointless sometimes😊
something I have accomplished recently is being nominated as employee of the year! it's boosted my confidence at work and going to be challenging my anxiety by FLYING to the awards in London
It's do some yoga, I'm the most un-flexable person ever, had to giggle to myself. Kinda wanna try though
