What have you learnt from 2015?

For me personally, 2015 has been a year where I have learnt a lot!
For me:
- sometimes, hiding how you're really feeling doesn't work. It actually makes things harder. He knew and I knew he knew
- some people really are wonderful
- amongst other things, I have to learn to say when things really aren't right. I also must learn to say when I don't fully understand something

    Great thread.

For me the main thing is.. I can go out of my comfort zone and still feel okay.

I've also learnt that it's okay to put yourself first sometimes.

I learnt who I did not need in my life and cut them off.
I found TheSite and learnt that it's okay to not be okay and that there is always someone to talk to that won't judge and knows how hard it is just opening up.

I've learnt that it's okay to admit you're not okay, it's okay to tell loved ones your deepest secrets; They'll support you and want to help/look after you.
I've also learnt that you need to face your fears in order to grow, even if it's just something small like doing a presentation in front of two people.
The most important thing I've learned though, is that things can and will get better.

I've learnt that you sometimes have to put yourself first, even if it means hurting others, to be happy, and that I am capable of living by myself and looking after myself even if things get rough.
