This time of year we can often find ourselves reflecting on the year gone by, the good and the not so good. This thread is to focus on all the positives and good times you've enjoyed.

Maybe something you achieved?

A moment you shared with someone?

A place you visited?

Something that makes you smile when you look back on it...

My highlight of 2015 was getting engaged and the fun of telling my family :d I also finally went back to the Isle of Wight where I hadn't been since I was really young and watched the sunset over the needles which was breathtaking, here's a photo:

    Ahh great thread Jo

I have a few highlights from 2015, but one that still makes me smile was a weekend trip in London with one of my friends, we had lots of giggles, and smiles and made some amazing memories, that we still talk about now.

    A few others are...

Celebrating my nephew's 3rd Birthday, cannot believe he is now 3.

Finding out that I am going to be an auntie again too two new babies.

Anddd.. Having lots of friend times. :thumb:

2015 has been the weirdest year everrrr

I'd say my absolute best moment was probably winning grand champions at a dance competition back to back to back (so we won 2013, 2014 then 2015) because it was so unexpected and we'd worked so so hard. Maybe 2016 will make it 4? ;)

    A few others..
-Some of my GCSE results really surprised me - got an A in maths when I'd been failing it all year and also did ridiculously well in science which was totally unexpected
-Got the best job in the world like ever
    -Met some amazing people
    -Leaving school:yippe:

I thought I'd had a relatively quiet year this year, but thinking about it lots has happened!

I made it through the first year of uni, and passed! Done loads of different volunteering and work experience, and starting even more in the new year. Been on some awesome trips to London and lots of other places. And like BananaMonkey, lots of awesome friend times with old school friends and some amazing new ones.

Some of my highlights from 2015 are qualifying as a pharmacist after 5 hard years of study, and also going back to America this summer for a family wedding and spending time with a lot of my close family after 15 years!

Joining and volunteering on TS is definitely on the list too :)

Here's to an even better 2016 :yippe:

Considering 2014 I was in and out of more hospitals, Pysch wards, Police stations than I can count, 2015 I haven't been in any. Well for mental health anyways, There was the whole breaking legs incident that meant i had to visit a+e :P Might be a minor thing to some, But big to me.

Managed to get a really rewarding yet really difficult job.

Jo - congrats on the engagement!

I qualified as a doctor and have survived (and even enjoyed!) my first job. Managed to stay on track with general life after my dad died too which I count as an achievement.

I think my biggest highlight is the fact I've grown so much in confidence and I can recognise that. I've joined some amazing groups and made some incredible life long friends. I got an amazing support worker. I've had another year watching my nephew grow so, so much and learn even more new things - I can't believe he's turning three in January! I've made so many memories this year with 'nana who I love very much and am grateful to have as my friend. And I can officially get the bus on my own!! I thought I'd NEVER be able to do that.
