absolutley sucks.

too many of my friends are going through it at the moment and its hell seeing them have to suffer, especially when i am too.

    Oh, unrequited love sucks. Been there too often. :(
    Sort of there at the moment too. But I wouldn't say it's love, yet, as I just don't know her well enough. I asked, but she isn't interested. :crying: Ah well, got to try and get over it and move on. :(

    I'm not sure what you define by love really but you have to accept that, painful though it is, it can happen. I've dealt with it in the past by trying to forget about them which eventually happens naturally. I see some of the people I used to fancy today and can't imagine how it happened! Right now, I just want to give up. Modern life just seems to make it too difficult; you hear lots of people saying they don't have time for relationships and then there's all this stuff about having to be in the right place and the right time and all that. Is it really worth it?

    Edited to add, that despite my disillusionment, I have sympathy.

    Unrequited love is one of the worst and best things that can happen to you...
    I remember it well - i thought my love for my beautiful woman was unrequited, back in the days when we were just best mates, it took a small mental episode (i am in fact schizophrenic, although because i'm not 18 yet i can't actually have a mental illness) for us to realise we both felt the same about each other.
