    What are your qualifications?

What kinda country do you want to live in?

    How far away?

And btw, I doubt that £2000, will be enough to such a move if you want to have the basics in order.

We have lots of info in our travel section that you can read up on to start with. Try visiting places like Trailfinders and STA Travel that specialise in independent travelling and get some first hand advice from the travel agents (they all have to have travelled extensively to get a job there) - if there isn't one near you, visit their websites. It may be worth considering a Gap year - visit the gap year website or www.thebackpacker.net for loads more advice on that. Working abroad is a great way to stretch your money - check here for more.
Good luck and happy travels ;)

£2000 is not really enough full stop.

you could get one of them round the world tickets for about a grand/£1500 and i think somehow you get a work permit for australia with it or something, go work in australia for like a year. a lot of my friends have done that they get a round the world ticket and end up staying in australia for a year and then move on. or you could apply for the USA Green Card Lottery, although im not sure if you would be eligible, i have a feeling they dont let the English apply, correct me if im wrong, and that is of course assuming you are English. im from Northern Ireland and im eligible. the green card lottery is really simple you basically fill in a form and your form is entered and then they pick the numbers at random, like the lottery. the odds are supposed to be like 1 in 100 or something. it gives you 5 years to legally live and work in the USA and then if you want you can apply for USA citizenship or just go home after the 5 years. i cant remember the website, do a search, but its something like usaimmigration.org or something.
