Yep they are out!
What grades did you all manage to get? Where they what you expected?

Congratulations to all that has worked hard whether you have straight A*'s or straight E's, well done. For those of you who didn't work so hard, you don't get any praise from me:o

    You're generally 16. Although having said that, I'm 18 and am getting a GCSE result back today. Then, I was watching GMTV and this 7 year old girl has just got a C grade in I.T :rolleyes:

    What on earth is the world coming to :confused: :eek2:

    I'm still doing my GCSE's and it really annoys me when the A-Level students go 'It's a walk in a park', maybe so but at the time GCSE's seem the most important thing in the world. Besides when GCSE's have finished we get to do A-Levels, so it's not like we get the easy option as the A-Levelers make out:eek2:

    Got BB in Science, C in Maths, Geography and German, D in Technology, RE, Economics and English Lang, and I got an E in English Lit.

    I got 4 As, 4 Bs, 2 Cs and an F.

    But it's ok, because I hate music and didn't even want to do it. Not to mention I didn't expect to get any As.

    When I did mine (2 years ago), I got 3 A's, 2 B's, 4 D's and an E....not bad considering I was expecting C's and D's :D

    I've moved that to 5 D's now...after re-sitting maths twice :rolleyes: I'm such a dunce when it comes to maths, but was happy that I've finally gone up a grade after getting 2 E's :eek2: I'll give it another go in november..but that's it :rolleyes:

    God everyones done soooooo well! I got a variety 1A*, 1A, 4Bs, 2Cs, 2Ds, 1E.I got over the crying swearing hysterically bit after about 45mins (The Ds were in science.I'd been predicted Bs.I must have REALLY messed it up)

    Is this just a board full of brainy people, or does everyone usually get straight A grades at GCSE? :eek2: Lol, I've never met anyone who gets straight A's!

    1A*-Irish
    1A-Italian
    6B-english,DA science, history,spanish,R.E.
    2C-ICT, Maths
    1D-classical civilisation (went to 3 classes in a year)
