Headaches, oooooooh the pain

I've been getting 'headaches' - my mum says that they are too short to be classed as headaches (they generally last between 5-10 mins) - several times a day since the end of October. At first I thought they were brought on by stress and I thought I would wait until the Christmas holidays to see. But they got steadily worse and when my mum took me to see the doctor I got prescribed migraine tablets. These didn't work AT ALL, and actually made them worse, as well as making me sleep for 14 hours non - stop! So I stopped taking them, but the headaches refused to stop, sometimes they were so bad they stopped me from doing my work at school. So my mum decided to go to the pharmacist at Tesco and she reccommended vitamin tablets, they have kind of helped but the other day in Science I got a REALLY bad headache and I could not do my work. Does anyone else have this and know of any ways I can help stop them? Or at least make them less severe!?
Thanks

the end.
It isn't migraines otherwise surely they would last longer? My mums last about 2-3 days. And besides, if they were then the pills would have worked surely? Plus, aren't those things expensive????
Perhaps you could go to an Opticians and just check if your eyes are alright?
My older sister suggested that because she used to get them, but it's not like at specific times like those things, it's just any time, like I could be stood in the playground doing nothing and I would get one.
Okies, will try this, will be hard 'cos I love my Fanta :crying: but I'm sure I will be able to cope without it!!!! Thanks for the advice everyone
