which greek island do people think is the best for a good holiday?
Never been to any but I've heard good reports about most

    Everyone i've talked to has agreed that Crete is by far the best. I spose cos it's one of the bigger than most islands in the mediterranean.
    Everyone also said it doesn't really depend on the island too much, more on the company.

    I'm from Greece and my favourite islands are Ios and Santorini. Santorini is by far the most picturesque one! But in Ios has better beaches and more fun! Anyway... hope you have a really nice time at whatever island you choose!

    I've been to crete a couple of times and it was great. you can normally find somethig to suit, the last time i went we stayed on the south coast which was really untouristy. stayed in a great little hotel on a beach 12 k down a dead end track. bliss:cool:
