    But you still do.

Hmmm, I think there is a lesson for us all there...

    ;)

I watch them over and over, hence why I buy them...

It really depends on the quality of the film. I don't buy stuff I don't really think I can watch over and over again but instead rent it.
And what I buy I usually watch like once a year or so.. occasionally twice. Even more often. ;)

I watch most of my DVDs over and over - but there are a few that I cringe at now, and never watch.

How do you know we've got any?

I've bought five DVDs over the year, and have rewatched three of them: Taxi Driver, Father Ted (First Series) and Heat, but I'm beginning to think films are better off renting, unless they're your favourite films, TV series, or porno films (in which case you will want to watch again and again! :D )

I watch them every so often, like if I'm in the mood or feel like a night in. IMO you've got to get the right balance between justifying spending £15 or so on it in the first place, and watching it too much so it loses the novelty...

Also depends on the film, I watch comedy type stuff (American Pie etc) more often than serious, action-type things - that's not because of preference, less serious films seem more fun to watch again and again, on the serious ones you know the plot and stuff so its not so good.

I only got a DVD player last autumn and quite a lot of the DVDs i bought since then would really have been better to hire. I think i just buy DVDs for the sake of it! But i'm stopping all that now because I've cut down a load of hours in work and need all the money i can get!
