Christina Georgina Rossetti was born in 1830 and died in 1894. Her article Remember was written around 1862. I'm sorry I can't find anything on the other author.

I would imagine socital has something to do with society but I have tried looking it up in the dictionary and its not there I'm afraid. But as far as I can work out it does have something to do with society.

This means you need to find out what society was like when those poems were written.
Think about who was ruling and what was important - monarchy, religion, culture etc. Can the poem be linked to anything that was happening at the time?

the other one, a woman to her lover, has references to the socialist/communist revolution so its kinda along those lines
i probably made up the word socital but you lot caught on to what i meant :)
    cheers for your help
