The essential purpose of European diplomacy has been, and remains, the preservation of the powerful, by the powerful, for the powerful. Wherever in the world we see a dictatorship protected by diplomatic custom and webs of trade, we see an outpost of "Old Europe." Saddam is more European than Tony Blair.

    The US supports the Pakistani dictatorship for their own interests, for the interest of the powerful because in international terms the US is the very definition of the powerful........

    That was from the NY Post. I thought it was justice to post it after France companies have been caught acting morally superior while French companies were selling pestisides and spare parts to mirage jets this year to Iraq.

    It appears to be an unproven accusation, that is not proof....

    Also it is a french company, different to 'the French' wouldn't you say........

    If you really wanted to know Toadborg. You'd look it up...it's all over the news here. Hopefully the French government wasn't aware of the sales. Or it might be the reason why France is so set against allied troops going into Iraq and toppling Saddam.
    France also sells America many aviation parts and equipment. Business is good.
