How do you get into this? After doing a placement with special needs children I have found I really enjoy it and it could be the job for me. What do you need a degree in and where do you go from there? If you know anyone who teaches at a special school can you ask them?
Thanks

i think www.acornadventure.com work with them but there are other places that do exclusively
But just think its a nice thing to want to do and Best of luck!:)
What makes you want to do this if you dont mine me asking?
True- but why not teach kids without them then?
Or try teach both- I was just wondering is their any reason she would prefer to teach them?
Im not trying to be in any way prejudice or against people with learning disabilities etc:
We are more alike my friends than we are un alike
We are more alike my friends than we are un alike
We are more alike my friends than we are un alike
Thank you
I want to do this because I am on such a brilliant placement at a special needs school. I get so much back from them, it feels like the hard work is worth it. Being a mainstream pupil all my life, I've noticed that you don't get as much back. You just get lip. My mum's worked with normal pupils and she said you get zilch respect.
Anyway, it's just something i'm drawn to I guess
