I would like to become a teacher, but at college level, so I was planning on just getting my major in political science and my minor in history, but lets say I change my mind, what else could I do with a degree like that?

Hey my_name. As a history student myself, I can say, you can use it for many things. I myself am going to pursue a career either in as a writer or in the legal trade. It teaches you key skills like research and putting together an arguement and writing cogently (as does politics). Thus the two are highly respected in many trades and industries.
