It's very emabarrasing watching them perform that song.
They look like Miss Selfridge sales assistants doing karaoke after a few too many bacardi breezers.
Not quite as bad as the - I have more charisma in my big toe! - boys though.

I don't really think xmas no.1 is ever really going to be anything else but a 'joke.' I think we take it for granted it'll be a pile of cack.

And that's the way we like it!

It'd be odd if there was a decent no.1 at xmas.

LMAO! That is so true. I've only seen a clip of them and you're spot on there! I am glad to say I have never heard either song, and wouldn't know any of them if I tripped over them in the street! It's amazing what a remote control for your TV can do, and also the advent of specialist music channels on TV!

I think they're great. Not the most Xmassy song ever, but they're cool.

And yes, I'm a record promoter's dream. Bite me :p

It was hardly a suprise when they were anounced as christmas number 1.
And it is so true about them being like sales assistants doing karaoke , all they do is stand on the spot and wiggle abit, the video is like that too, very imaginative-not.

pines for the day when when the new years No1 was Iron Maiden - Bring your daughter to the slaughter.

Kinda made you forget Cliff Richard was the Xmass No 1 that year.:p

    Christmas No. 1

    Hmm... :chin:

I thought that the Cheeky Girls should have been number one but ah well :D

What song would you nominate (if you could choose) to be Christmas number one??

Miss Selfridge sales assistants, you say?? More like New Look

Take a look at this though

    http://www.everyhit.com/christmasnumber1.html

I mean ...when did we last have a really good number one at xmas? 1981 Don't you want me - human league 1979 Another Brick in the wall - Pink Floyd 1966 Green Green grass of home - Tom Jones?

Most Xmas Number ones are pants but isn't that what Britain is all ablout?

i think it was all a fix. its been planned all along that one of those commercial shites will get to number 1. everything is fixed these days. it dosent matter about music anymore its all about money which is why pop music sucks!!
