Like communism couldnt work without it being global capitalism is in enough countries to make it impossible for any major country to go to far the left without serious problems.

Industry is too fluid these days, if the enviroment changes too much in this country businesses will just up and leave and then we'll have even less to share out.

If you read my first post though, it highlights that although London is the "richest" city in Europe, it also has the largest "poor" population.

So doesn't this just prove the lie of your theory?

Like you say the money is in the economy whioevers hands its in, so why is it better to be concentrated in the hands of a minority?

Why also do these people (if we take it that they are more talented than the average person) need huge salaries to be able to make their fabulous contributions to the economy?

Can't they do it for a decent wage, not a stupid wage?

I can see what you mean, that by paying some people more then we are saying that they are better people than others. However just how are you going to enforce some sort of maximum wage system?

What is a 'stupid' wage? Whos going to decide that? You? And if so isnt that just a dictatorship?

No, a democratically elected govt would decide it, like the govt that makes the decisions in our country at the moment...........
