Hi all,
Haven't started a new post thingy yet so I thought I would!! Well apart from that introduce yourself bit but that don't count!!
Anyway just wondering what has everyones favourite album been this year, I think musics been really poor (as for urban music) this year just wondering if any of the other genres have been better?! So whatever genre you listen to what has been your album of the year?

(thats all I've been listening to for the last 2 weeks and I'll probably have another fave next week!)
I like it too! Am having a bit of a Robbie phase again at the mo'....have been watching VH1's Robbie week.....
Ashanti's album is also very good.
Sheer excellence.
umm...at the moment...Metallica - S&M
it'll change again though...quite heavily into Tool at the moment.
Although, I'd quite like a listen to Ms Dynamite's, just don't know anyone who has it and with dial-up connection I can't be arsed to download it at the mo...
Good choice, my favourite album differs from week to week but currently this week its dave grohl's pocketwatch
One BY One kicks ass
Pocketwatch Kicks ass
but my fave foo album is The Colour And The Shape.
But my favorite album of the year is a coin toss between ..
DJ Yoda - How to cut and paste Vol. 2 ....
and
Big Beach Boutique 2 ... purely for the bringing back of top memories factor ....
both of those albums are cool
Also been listening to Jeff Buckley 'Grace' a lot recently, but then again i usually do when i've got loads of essays and studying to do for uni. it helps me relax
I thinks its got some of their best work on there (Low, all my life, comeback) but also some of their worst (Overdrive)
wow, amazing!!!
________
Motorcycle tires
Sometimes when i get a new album tho it takes a while to grow on me...
Feeder - Echo park and comfort in sound
The offspring - Ixnay on the hombre
i downloaded avril lavigne the other day i thought every single song was excellent.
would have to be Michelle Branch - The Spirit Room. dont really buy cds, am getting lots as christmas presents though
just so many memories....
*drifts away*
"Aaliyah" - Aaliyah
"No Angel" - Dido
"Stripped" - Christina Aguilera
There was another one, but I can't remember....
i'm also interested to hear the norah jones album, i've heard a couple of tracks on the radio and it's very calming
Yay for the DC sound.
