Wages for under 18's

Maybe it's just me, but why should I work for a big company (wont say names) and be prepared to work for over a pound less an hour than employees doing the same work as me, just they're a year older.

Im 17, it's £3.50 an hour. Minimum wage, i think is £4.09. that means, to earn enough money to fund my insatiable appitite for jungle vinyls, i have to work very long hours, and sacrifice my free time that i could use for studying....and mixing.

If i want a pay rise, i have to go to head office, and everyone will have to get one. This won't happen as I would effectively have to get all the under 18 employees in the country to revolt.

I'm after anyone who feels the same. Ive got just under a year to sort this out so it actually effects me! WHOS WITH ME??

The minimum wage for 18-21 is £3.60, there is no minimum wage for under 18s. See here for more info.
