HI GUYS,
I'm a 20yr old student in the US. No real way to describe myself, except that I've got one of those personalities where I can laugh at myself in any situation. And I only have a couple of close friends that really know me beyond my 'bubbly and haven't got a care in the world' exterior.
Tikva comes from a book written by a doctor that I had to read last year for a writing (for science&medicine) course. The doctor's close friend developed a lymphoma and the radiation he underwent for that caused him to develop treatment-related leukemia a few years later. Tikva (meaning 'hope') was born during the first battle with illness. The whole story really moved me, so I used the name. Her father is alive and well today.
