Yeah I've seen quite a few of those bands. King Prawn are pretty famous now. Seen Capdown loads as they started up around here so have played in Kent for years. I've seen Lubby Nugget a few times too as well as Consumed.

erm concert-wise, not including festivals, I've seen:
    Blur
    Rage Against the Machine
    Mad Caddies
    Strung Out
    Good Riddance
    The Hives
    Weezer
    Black-eyed Peas
    Faithless

along with a load of festival bands, support bands and random bands. The best local band I've ever seen is a ska punk band called The Splitters who are a bit like Capdown.

yea just recently I saw Les Claypool at a festival with his flying frog brigade. They did like a 20 minute version of shine on you crazy diamonds. He was also there with bucket brain. He seems to be real involved in the jam band genre now especially after touring with oysterhead.

I don't know if this counts, but I watch The Pretenders play Newmarket race course last Friday. I didn't actually pay as it was a corporate night out but they paid £20 a ticket I think.

We were thinking about seeing them too, but we didn't know how good they were. There's another one about too, can't remember what they're called. Fools Gold I think, but they've not got such a good rep.

I've seen a lot of new/unsigned bands recently but their names will mean little to you and some I can't remember myself. Some were good. Some were not so good and a few have been dire.

    In the past I've seen

    Luther Vandross
    Tears for Fears
    Level 42
    James Brown

    I want to see

Prince (aka a million other names)
    Cold Play
    The Charlantans
    The Manic Street Preachers
    New Order
    The Doves
    Ian Brown

I wish I'd seen The Verve before they split.
