Well done/congratulations reaction

Some posts just need a way for us to say "well done!" Or "congratulations!", Because insightful, hugs and agree don't quite fit. Maybe for ease could call it "yay"

    If a yay reaction is added there is a risk that it could be thought of as sarcastic which is what happened with the "thanks" reaction which is why it is a "thank you" reaction instead. Just my thoughts on it. Great idea otherwise.

    Any of the other reacts could be used sarcastically too, and I've not noticed it being a problem :grin:

    Yeah I think anything has the potential to be used negatively (not that I have so far seen) and if there are repercussions for doing so there shouldn't be any problems :)

    Yeah i can see where @Dancer is coming from by it being used in a sarcastic way, but that was a big worry with the thanks and thank you reaction but so far it’s not been an issue, most people on here are very sincere and know when sarcasm is appropriate :) 

    I really like this idea, sometimes a hug doesn’t feel appropriate on the more positive threads.

    Obviously it doesn't have to be yay, I was just thinking of something short and quick that would fit alongside the other reactions! 

    I was thinking it could have the wee 🎉 symbol and then whatever we decide to call it. 

    It would be a nice way to acknowledge people's success and other times where it fits!

    It is very important to have the correct sort of name for the reaction so it is not thought of as sarcastic and something that people would understand when to use. If that makes sense

    I can't imagine any support site would have a sarcastic reaction button, it would be the people using it sarcastically which would be the problem

    We're in the process of trying to remove them - didn't expect them to be noticed so quickly! Eagle eyed as always, @Shaunie. :tongue: We just wanted to get the feature itself switched on as quickly as possible and worry about the other stuff later. We agree, though!
