feel disconnected/uncomfortable

So, I've felt like this for a while now and I just wanted to rant about it in order to get it out. My surroundings, and everything around me constantly makes me feel uncomfortable. Trust me I know that sounds really weird. It's buildings, my room, my house, shops, paintings, everything, the way things look. The way I perceive everything. It's not just when I'm in my house, if a building looks 'unappealing' to me it really affects me and I have no idea why. I've tried to explain this to my mum, and even a school counsellor, who I could tell were confused, and didn't know what I meant. I feel like I perceive everything differently to the rest of the world. It's so frustrating, because no one understands what I'm talking about, and how can I explain to others how it feels, if I don't even understand it. It feels like I'm mentally overwhelmed by surroundings if I don't like them, and I have such a strong reaction to things. It's like everything on Earth makes me uncomfortable, and it sucks and I don't understand it. Sorry this is such a weird rant, I don't get it either.

I’m sorry I really don’t have any advice. But you have nothing to be sorry about. It sounds like a really confusing and frustrating time I’m just sorry I can’t help more. But opening up here and reaching out like you have been is a good thing to do I’m just sorry I can’t give you any advice.
I don't know much about derealisation, so I think I might research it to try and find out more, thanks so much for the reply, I appreciate it.
The fact that the people I've talked to don't understand what I mean, makes it much harder to figure out the problem and how to help. I'm going to continue to research for now to try and see if I can find anything, thank you for your support I really appreciate it.
