What could I be?
A person or a tree?
I guess you have to make up your own mind,
and come with any answers you may find,
for I can grow in any weather
I can feel something as small as a feather
I can withstand a storm,
in years, I can transform
for a baby, or seedling I once was,
but I am here, with a cause
for we both need air,
and the suns glare,
for we both need water,
and we are both somebody's Daughter
what is the difference between a person and a tree?
I guess for one, a tree cannot flee,
we are similar in so many ways,
we both suffer, when life is ablaze,
but we are stronger than the storm,
we both have a duty to perform,
whatever life throws at us,
we will throw it under the bus,
we will come out the strongest
and live life to the longest,
we can both be free,
we both hold the key,
What could I be?

Before any comments with suggestions even I don't know, i'm bored and growing plants so wanted to write a cheery poem for a change
and I miss trees....
was also inspired by the riddle thread... and wanted to show how close we are to nature, we wouldn't survive without it
