  Good question! 
  
  I believe it should be a similar process throughout the UK. However, it may depend on the different exam boards, and it is very likely that you'll need to talk to your teacher and have your school/college process your appeal request as it's unlikely you'll be able to contact the exam boards for an appeal directly.
  
  Outside of England, the main exam boards are:
  
  WJEC (Wales) https://www.wjec.co.uk/students/post-results-services/ 
  SQA (Scotland) https://www.sqa.org.uk/sqa/79048.html 
  CCEA (Northern Ireland) https://ccea.org.uk/studentsparents/post-results-information/review-marking-how-make-appeal-about-your-results
  
  There may be others so do check with your school/college!
