No it isn't. And in fact I hate that premise so much that I've done dangerous things and purposefully told nobody about it so I could never be seen as attention seeking. Fun times.

Yeah. It's seeking care.  Which yeah some may confuse with seeking attention. To me seeking care would be to get the help they feel they need and seeking attention would be they do not actually feel bad but just doing it for any attention. But guess even seeking attention means there's some need there too ,cause attention & love is a need. And giving attention or care could be what helps them.
So what I mean is whatever people do or whatever the reason people think -- there is a reason and need to be understanding of that & help

and I don’t know if worded that well. But I typed and deleted a few times cause I didn't know how to word but hopefully made sense.
“And when they look at you, they won't see everything you've been through. They won't see the **** that turned to scars that began to fade with time. They won't see the heartbreaking things that shook up and changed your entire world. They won't know how many tears you cried or even what it was you were crying about. They won't see how strong you had to be because you had no other choice. What they will see though is how compassionate you are because you experienced pain. What they will see is how kind you are because you experienced how cruel the world is. What they will see is how good you are because you've seen how bad things or people can be. The difference between you and your experiences are who you choose to be, despite everything that could have turned you cold and unkind. You are the good the world needs and the best of us.” ~ Kirsten Corley

Supposedly anyway. I'm on a pretty high dosage of an SSRI and I'll say i preferred the anti depressant i had before. Cant remember what it was called but it was kind of a sleeping pill aswell. Had to stop taking them though since I was basically out cold for most of my exams :D

I agree, crying for help gets easily passed off as being “attention seeking” however it just means you need support and there’s nothing wrong with that 💗
