Job interview confusion

Hi,

If you get told that you have a job interview and you can't attend the interview date so you tell them and they say they will call back but never do, is that illegal in a sense?

I knew you always would''

It's not illegal, but it's probably not the most courteous thing to do. :chin:

How long has it been? Is there a chance they're just a bit delayed in getting back to you? Don't be afraid to chase them up if you think they might have forgotten. Although it can feel a bit rude at the time, people can be grateful for it if it's done respectfully.
All behaviour is a need trying to be met.

I got a interview but it was for a part time pet shop job but i couldn't go due to train strikes and they said they would email back which they did and they said if further oppurtunities come up they'l email. So most of the time you will hear back it might just take a few weeks.
