I have a really old pc at home (windows 95 I think) I just want to know, if my halls say they have internet acess do I just take my pc and connect it? Is it as simple as that, no bills or anything?

    Depends on the uni- some are free, some are cheap, mine was £80 a year :mad:

    Mine was £75 for the year, plus I needed to buy an ethernet card which was another £25.

    Not bad really for broadband internet access 24/7 :)

    I thought it was a rip off, it was always going down, plus uni only lasts for 20 weeks plus they get subsidised internet and other unis (Hull) it's only about £20.
