Which subject you found the most boring but you had to study because of exam? For me its history! I remembered studying it before A level exam and it was absolutely nightmare! You know its a pain to study something you are not really interested.

Economics, for the same reason. I loved it at A Level, but hated it with a passion this year, so I am dropping it next year (I do combined honours)

oh yeah I found Economics boring too. Done that in uni, it was all about models and assumptions. It has no practical application in the real world!

It's a close call between Physics and Chemistry, but as in Physics you get to learn about astronomy and stilettos, Chemistry wins. Boooooo

Studying animal cognition in A level psychology is the worst. I just don't care enough! And the synoptic monolgue unit of A level English lang and lit. I can't say any of my A levels are fun, but they're not 100% boring either.

GCSE Religious Education used to kill me though!

What on earth is a synoptic monolouge unit, I only did my A Levels 2 years ago and I didn't do that!

    RS is great!

Maths. I hate it because I can't do it - I'm numerically incompetent, you see . Chemistry and Physics would both come a close second...I'm a humanities girl .

    I must be wierd.

I love History, Economics and Physics. Rather partial to English, Maths and German as well.

I don't actually loathe any of my subjects, I'm just not brilliant at all of them.

I feel similarly to Turtle; don't particularly hate any of them.

Although design technology does have a special place of hatred in my heart - the most ridiculous, time wasting, pointless "subject" ever created.

Ok, you brought up an interesting point, which had slipped from my memory. During the middle of my IB, I went through a face of complete disillusionment, insisting that the classes were pointless, a monumental waste of time, when I could be at home doing coursework or actually learning stuff. As it was, I skipped about 20% of the year, barely scraping the necessary attendence required to get my HSD and my IB. That's the closest I've come to hating school, but it was based on principle, not just a general loathing of the idea of learning. I love to learn, I really do. I just sometimes don't have the concentration for it. :p

At GCSE I really hated all the sciences - sooo boring. At A-level it was Business Studies that I hated. I was average at it in my class - I got a C which I was pretty happy with - but I just found it so incredibly boring.

Economics is great (and very relevant to the real world) as is Philosophy and History.....

Boring subjects are languages and English Lit when you have to do books you don't like and look at Poems....:(

I'm really enjoying Business Studies this year! I hate, loathe and really regret taking Psychology though, it's the most dull, long winded subject ever. At GCSE, i really disliked Spanish. And RE before that - they wouldn't have let me take it for GCSE even if i had wanted to!
