ICQ?

Hi, does anybody know what the ICQ ID is for on the profile? Somebody said to me "my ICQ number is ******* (forgot the number now), we can talk on the ICQ" and I dunno what he was on about. Or does anyone know how to get an ICQ ID?

ICQ is a program similar to MSN Messenger. Though that with ICQ you can send sms's, and recieve them, which you can not with the messenger.

I wouldn't recommend on downloading it (can be found on www.icq.com if you choose to do so anyways), as it is can be quite complicated and annoying comparing to the messenger, it opens commercial windows, and as far as i know you can't have joint conversations with two or more people on your list.

    PAH!

It is FAR superior to MSN. You can do everything you can in MSN plus a lot more (can MSN support having multiple online statuses? - being invisible for some people, away for others, and online to others). The only reason I use trillian is beacause a lot of people use MSN so I need a client that handles MSN aswell as ICQ.

    ICQ was better in 1997 when there were under 500,000 using it <IMG SRC="tongue.gif" border="0" ALT="icon"> <IMG SRC="biggrin.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">

Its gone all cheesy now! Its got some features I wish MSN had, but I can manage without...

msn messenger might sign itself out.

msn messenger might mess up my conversations.

msn might cancel files I am trying to send to mates.

but at least I can simply hit the "enter" key to send the message;).

seriously...the one main thing that made me delete ICQ when I had it was that I had to keep clicking the mouse on send to send the message lmao.
i really didnt like any aspect of ICQ. its cluttered appearance and annoying ads made me stick to msn.
