Hello all you football lovers I wish to adress a matter of grave concern
ITV Digital have been suggesting that they will have to renegotiate their deal with the nationwide league ie give them less money. It is estimated that 17, yes 17 nationwide league sides are on the verge of bankruptcy and a reduction in TV rights could see them go under or rather dragged down by the weight of footballers salaries, what can be done? <IMG SRC="eek.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">

The transfer system should be re-arranged aswell. Smaller teams are missing out on millions as they develop players and then sell them, the player goes off and is spotted as the next big thing. Smaller teams should receive, say, 15% of all the players transfer fees until the age of about 25. This would encourage small clubs to invest in development facilites and all the rest of it.
FA Cup. Huge generator of money for small clubs. They dream about a away tie at a Premiership club is the reason most are in it. I would like to see a way of these clubs getting more from the FA Cup. Not sure how this would be done cos TV companies want viewers and ultimately they aint gonna get that with Rochdale vs Kidderminster instead of Villa vs Man Utd.
Lastly somesort of policy where a percentage of profits from big clubs (top 10 or something) should be given to the FA and used to help lower clubs. Which clubs give the money (indeed 2-5% from all league teams could do it) and where the money goes exactly.
So thats my ideas. Might add others later or even adapt my own when i realise how stupid and unachievable they are...
