Im pretty happy as my second team, Ipswich have got in the UEFA cup through the fair play system. I know its going too enrage other clubs that they did when others performed better in the league but everyone knew at the start of the season it was a valid way too qualify no matter where you come.
Bring back Inter to Portman Road...... <IMG SRC="biggrin.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">

I would blame Ipswich's relegation partly to their UEFA cup run last year.

The pressure is on Ipswich to bounce back up. Surely being in the UEFA cup is a major distraction which may hold them down another year.

Good Luck but I think Burley & Co have a decision.... Uefa Cup run or Promotion.

You may acheive both with an inform injury free Stewart.

Great to see another Ipswich fan on here Narcotic (they're my first team, who's yours?).

Only just picked up this news after being away for the weekend, nice welcome home present. I think how well Ipswich do next year will partly depend on trades done in the close season. That said, Burley has proved himself to be a shrewd manager with a board that are 100% behind him, and the impetus and spirit is certainly there to get back to the Premiership quickly.

I personally feel that they should concentrate on the promotion issue, with a run in the UEFA being an added bonus if it happens.
