Job Clubs

I signed on this week and she mentioned have I thought about job clubs.

I searched the net to find that they only give internet searching tips etc.

Are they worth attending?

    I've not been to one personally, but from what I hear they vary a lot, some can be really useful. Maybe no harm in trying?

    It also shows you're doing your best to find work, which does no harm at a time when the DWP are pressured to sanction people!

    I decided not to go because I'm not interested in it and it's in kind of a rough area.

    I applied for around 9 jobs, but had no replies or intereviews for any of them. I feel like I'm wasting my time really.

    Sorry to hear that :( I know it feels frustrating, but that's pretty normal. People often have to apply for a lot more than that until the right things comes up. But it's worth it. Keep going, and you'll get there.
