yellow tint on screen

i have my laptop linked up to mt samsung 32" tv by hdmi when the laptop is open the colour is fine but when i close the screen of my laptop down the picture on my tv screen turns a yellow tint anyone no how to fix it?

    Try calibrating colour in your laptops Display Settings.

    Different laptops often have fifferent diplay applications that youll need to configure. Asus for instance uses Splendid Utility.

    I got it sorted dont no how to be honest lol its a asus running windows 8.1 just messed about with settings lol
