What are job centres supposed to do now that their rules have changed?

I thought they're supposed to HELP you look for a job instead of letting you wait 15minutes, calling your name out, letting you sit down and sign something and then tell you "I'll see you next week"!

    I personally never would use the job centre to find work. The whole system seems completely corrupt these days

    But seriously My point is I wouldn't use it to search for a job. I'd use other. Effective, private means.
