We're pleased to announce that on Tuesday 2nd September from 6.45-8pm we have the wonderful David Quinn dropping in to chat to answer your questions and chat about moving out for the first time. Maybe you're preparing to go off to Uni soon or thinking about moving out of your parents place - whatever your situation you're bound to have lots of questions..
Do I need a tv license?
What if I get homesick?
Can I afford it?
What if I don't get along with my housemates?
How do I find a place to rent?
David is able to offer advice on both the practical and emotional side of things and as usual, you'll all be welcome to share your tips and suggestions for one another too. James will also be there to help out.
A bit about David...
How will the chat work?
James will be hosting the chat and it will be a moderated session which means that all your questions and comments will go through James before they appear in the chat room - that means we can keep questions in a queue for David to answer one at a time.
Everyone is welcome, no need to sign up, just come along on the night!
If you can't make it then you can always PM me your question and we'll ask David to answer it for you

A bit about David...
David runs the Union Support Service at City University London. He's there to provide practical advice and guidance when things go wrong, such as illness, money problems or housing worries. He's previously been a trustee of the National Association of Student Money Advisers, and has ten years' experience working in the advice sector.
When he's not at work, you'll usually found him curled up in the corner with a good book, out on his bike or otherwise causing mischief.
