More questions mr/mrs mods...

I apologise in advance for anything here I'm not meant to say, I was just testing some stuff I had learnt on my MCSA course and found the following information on a IP Trace Route of this site...

I won't go too into detail cause thats unfair, but..

Who's Anastasia? And what do the Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine have to do with this site?

Just curious really... its some of the information I got back, hope you don't mind me asking, I browsed around and couldn't find any details...

Hey Justin, sorry to butt in but can I ask you how much you are paying to do your course? My b/f wants to do it (he has done the MCP) but it costs several grand unless you get a company to pay for it for you.

P.S. Anastacia is a big voiced, big haired woman who sung "I'm Outta Love" and is singing the world cup song.

MCSA is $6500, that includes 2 exam costs as well, the other two I get 25% off the full cost (they are about $300 each) the course doesn't guarentee a pass and is 12 weeks long (I finish in March)

Its a good course, advise him if hes serious not to go to a boot camp as they are frowned upon by employers...

And Anastasia is someone who works at Youthnet, I'm just interested who she is..

Thanks Justin (although I am not sure exactly what the dollar signs mean, it sounds a lot!). He won't go on a boot camp, they are too expensive anyway! Did you know that people in prison can get Cisco training for free now, which costs several grand for *normal* people.

    Hey all,

Um Justin, I'm not sure what they're teaching yo in your course but there's nothing secrative or 'wrong' about DNS information. It's freely available to anyone who can be bothered to look.

    As for your questions well...

Anastasia Williams was the Chief Executive of YouthNet when we registered TheSite.org. If you didn't know, YouthNet UK is the charity that own TheSite.org, and more impotenatly, pay our wages . Imperial College have been integral to our site from day one. They house our server and provide us with maintenance etc. It's very handy as our offices are a long walk from the server and it saves me the journey.

Don't worry about asking questions of this nature on the boards, there's nothin' to hide here BUT if you have a look on the YouthNet website HERE, you'll find Imperial College listed in our Partners section.

Hope that's a decent explanation for you!

Ohhh I know all too well, but sometimes people get a bit uptight about people snooping into it all... and also, sometimes people don't want all the details printed here (ie. address/phone numbers/account details etc.) and decides anyone can find it, but idiots can play about with it and annoy you...

    Question answered, cheers...

I figured that would probably be the case, but I also remembered a post from a while ago (possibly a rumour) that we are part of an experiment and it wouldn't suprise me if some of these boards and things are read for research into young adults.. it would make sense and in most cases give an accurate respresentation of youth culture today...

Don't worry about asking questions of this nature on the boards, there's nothin' to hide here

    Cheers.. more will follow now..

ahhhh your the LAN man, hope if your using wireless LANs you have all the protection up and reading about drive-by hacking...

We're going to do that for employment out here, get a wireless LAN card and walk down Queens St, Auckland and form a report on security then go to the companies and display our findings....
