Should I have cheated while I had the chance?

I had my geography AS exam this morning, as I had a clash yesterday so had to do 5 exams yesterday and they moved the sixth on to today as it would not have been possible to do them all in one day.

So, I was allowed to go home, but signed a consent form to say I wouldn't communicate with anyone. I didn't...and that's the thing. I really did have the chance to but I didn't phone or text or email anyone who had done the exam, thinking that it would be unfair. I do have a few close friends who would have told me without telling everyone so getting caught wouldn't have worried me. I was also predicted an A so there wouln't have been any suspicion.
But I really couldnt get the amount of revision done that I wanted, had the exam this morning and it didn't go very well. Now it's driving me insane that I didn't take the chance to roughly find out the questions last night so I could have revised better. What's making me feel worse is that my parents said I should have found out the questions too!I just feel really stupid now and feel that I'm gonna get a crap mark when I didn't have to.

Just wondering what views you guys have about this...what would you have done in my situation? -x

Of course you were right not to cheat because...

a)if anyone found out then I believe you would have been failed in ALL your exams (or something really bad)

b)In terms of your education it is important to know what level you are at for yourself and for the future i.e if you got an A grade through cheating and then went to a university you would not have been able to get into otherwise you could find yourself out of your depth etc etc......

When you look back on this in 10 years you will realise you were right not to cheat. Even if you do get a poor mark, it will be all you and no cheating.

Employers will like it too. You can tell them your little story in an interview and they will realise what an honest person you are.

I say good on ya, people should have nowt but respect for ya.

Plus - your parents really should be setting a better example than telling you that you should have cheated. Tut Tut Tut.

Well not to be a bitch but its a bit late now to be worrying about it!!

I personally dont think you should ever cheat because basically whats the point? Ok you might get a better grade but I know I certainly couldnt live with the fact that somebody had to help me achieve it, its not your own work!

Good one you for not cheating and hope you get the grade you want, im sure u will have! <IMG SRC="smile.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">

Well, I think you've set a good example... for your parents!
They should have taught you that cheating is wrong, but you're teaching them it!

It's better to not cheat and get a bad mark than to cheat and get a great mark.

    Well done!
