Things you can take into exams

I know about the whole see-through pencil case thing, but I have a really bad cough at the moment so would I be allowed to take a bottle of water in with me? Also I take this homeopathic (sp?) stuff along with rescue rememdy so would that be allowed in? Or do exam rules vary from college to college? <IMG SRC="smile.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">

    I don't see why not. I took loads of sweets and chewing gum into mine! Just check with your teacher.

    I used to take a drink and some sweets and chewing gum in, dont see why you should be allowed to take things like that in.

    Yeah well this bloke was in front of me in an exam and well he had the biggest bag of Haribo sweets ever!!! Yeah you'll be fine with water however i don't take it in purely because it'll distract me and i'll need a wee!

    Hehehe I'm going to take some sweets in with me to keep my sugar up and apparently chocolate is good for you before an exam. <IMG SRC="smile.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">

    Bloody not fair! we got told that it would be "too distracting" in the exam! last year in the mocks, some lad i really could've killed cos he was coughing like a horse and it was so annoying. it took the teachers 15 minutes to kinda realise he was dying before offering him a glass of water!!
    we not even allow polo's or ne thing but i reckon i could sneek in a few!

    Well im doing my AS's at the min and they're not even strict about that, mines is a furry thing <IMG SRC="tongue.gif" border="0" ALT="icon"> And they allow drinks in as well, tho no food (yeah rite!)

    I've been allowed drinks and sweets in exams since year 10 (i am in y13).
    When I have exams I take a still drink (cos I know fizzy drinks are noisy) and some fruit polos or something similar. If I had gum I would be tempted to blow bubbles.
    I remember when I was in year 10 and me and my friends had a thing about taking lots of "lucky" things into the exams. I must have had about 10 things on my desk (little soft toys n stuff) Did anyone else take lucky stuff in? I don't anymore.

    I moaned to my dad that i didn't have lucky charms so the sweetheart found me out this lucky irish pebble.... hows cute!
