Drink possibly spiked?

BubblesGoesBooBubblesGoesBoo Posts: 3,590 Community Veteran
i know they say 'never drink something you havent mixed yourself' but i was with these guys for a few hours before i had my first drink with them, its was a tin of sprite which they poured some out, and put raspberry vodka in it, i only had half of it and it was my first drink but everythings flakey about it, i cant remember some stuff, i know they hurt me and the police got involved but i couldnt tell them everything cause i cant remember and i dont know what to do to remember everything :( the police made me speak to a female rape officer, but i didnt co-operate fully cause i dont want anything to happen, i dont think there very happy
' So I put a bullet where I shouda put a helmet, and I crash my car cause I wanna get carried away, that's why I'm standing on the overpass screaming at myself 'hey, I wanna get better''

    Hey
It's good that you reported it. Yes it does sound like your drink was spiked so isn't that more of a reason to get these idiots sent down?

The police are trying to help you but you said you dont want anything to happen? Its good that you went to the police and the people that did this need to be brought up for it and not left to get away with it

    Hey Bubbbles..

It's understandable that you're feeling scared. As our article says:
There’s no ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ way to react to being raped. You may think it’s only rape if you burst into tears straight afterwards and ring the police. This is simply not true. You may feel a number of different things – denial, disbelief, guilt, mad at yourself, shock, or just a determination to carry on like nothing happened.

I just wanted to clarify where you'd got to so far - you went to the police and you spoke to the female rape officer but you didn't want anything to happen so you didn't cooperate - when you say you don't want anything to happen do you mean that you don't want to press charges?

It's likely you're still feeling in shock from the whole thing and it sounds like you're not sure what to do at this point or who can support you? You mention you're not sleeping either which must be really hard :(

You can always talk to us here if you need to get out how you're feeling.

I'd also suggest having a look at this article including the Next Steps box at the bottom which has some links to specialist support services that can help you work this through to work out what is best for you: http://www.thesite.org/crime-and-safety/victims-of-crime/was-it-rape-9143.html

You could also speak to someone at Victim Support in confidence if you felt able to call their helpline? Here's the link: https://www.victimsupport.org.uk/

Let us know how you're getting on *hug*
