This thread was a bit delayed because we're trying a new format this month. (Exciting!) Instead of nominating and going forward to a vote and a long read, we thought we'd try just having discussion and reviews in the thread, followed by chats around the theme. (We'll post a thread later for feedback and discussion on this new format.)
So, here's what we want to know:
What makes a monster? What is your favourite monster or monster book? Are there any writers that do this really well? What's your go-to recommendation on the monster theme?
If you want to do reviews in the old nominations style (Title / Synopsis / Review) for comment, please do. You can talk about fiction, non-fiction, whatever you like.
